I can relate a lot with how you feel. In November I had a win of 9k which was massive amount for me because I have a disability so hardly get any money. I was so happy told all my family and wanted to treat my mum to a holiday. Then within a week I lost it all and more felt dreadful was just thinking about it every second I was awake . A few days later I admitted to my mum what I had done and she was very disappointed but supportive. I’m still gamble free since then and it has got a lot easier only the occasional thought if the loss pops in my head. There is always support on this site. Stay strong you can overcome this.

I couldn’t stop thinking about what I could if bought aswell it gets easier you have to just treat it as an expensive lesson learnt or a debt that needed paying off. We can all move forward together and start to spend our money on the things that matter in life. Have a good day.

I know the feeling. Hopefully if you banned for 5 years from all the sites then reinstalling apps won’t get you back on. Stay strong it’s harder at the beginning. Power through you have the rest of your life to live. See it as an expensive lesson or think of it as something you had to pay out like a student loan. The money is gone now lets move forward together.

I lost mine on slots aswell and felt sick and couldn’t sleep for a while. I felt s bit better once I told family but couldn’t stop thinking of what I could have done with the money iblosy. It has got easier to deal with as time has passed but like you said I’m hoping it doesn’t take over again it was like I was not myself when playing slots. Hope you can give it up good luck and keep the thread updated with your progress.

Hi. Even if we win we can’t keep the money we always go back. You are young and if you can deal with this now you can stop a lot of hurt in the future. Let family or friends know about the problem it helps to get it off your chest and get support. Keep coming on here and updating us how you are getting on. Ban yourself from any betting sites and ask to be banned from shops if you bet in them. It gets easier as time passes I felt sick and couldn’t sleep for a while after losing all my savings. Try not to be too harsh on yourself and stay strong you can do this.

As LSA has said you are still young and can turn this around. Work hard again and get your life back on track. It gets easier as time passes but don’t be fooled into thinking you can control it. Come back on here if you get the urge to gamble and remember how you felt when you lost everything. We can all help each other here. Stay strong.

Hi Sean. Glad you are still on track. I hope your son has a great birthday and you get plenty of quality time with him. Family or close ones can be that extra boost on days were we are feeling low and remind us we are lucky to be alive. Keep on the journey we have all got this together.
