Another Monday!
In college at the moment so quick post. Still surviving but really tempted to gamble – I find it so hard to let the money go!!
And that back window is still open. I will know today or tomorrow (or Wed!) if I have gotten a bonus from the tournament I was in – and have asked a friend to withdraw it from my account and then close the account. That should make life a lot easier!
Anyway, on with Day 10!!This can be done and life is there for all of us!

Thank the stars for people like you. I remember my early days in aa (which has kept me sober for a long time!), when I would meet an ‘oldtimer’ or not so oldtimer like yourself ;-), they would make a suggestion to help me in my recovery, and I would thank them and blithely ignore their advice thinking it was too much hassle! Like clockwork, two weeks later I would realise how right they were, and then implement what they advised. The help that people like you give (even if it takes time to sink in!) is invaluable.
Your advice and comments to me are much appreciated (even if there may be a lag!), and I even found myself reading the daily reflection today (although I have a copy in my bathroom which has not been opened in a looong time). The fact that someone takes the trouble to post the reflections daily is such a contribution.
I realised just now that I have no idea of your story and your thread is next on my reading list.
