thank you both for your kind words,to vera you are so right,60 is the new 40,and if I was gambling I would certainly lost the will to live at this stage with all that’s going on,but thankfully god is with me ,and gambling is a thing of the past and not my future, and to you P,by your post I feel you may be struggling,but you can do it,if not on your own ,with help from the people on here,or by talking to family,for you P ,the future can be good,just go for it,and hopefully in future posts,your posts will be positive,,if its a listning ear you want,im here just post me

hi forum friends,
not been on for awhile,sorry to say health isn’t to good at the moment,
ive reached 60,and now my body has decided to let me know,im waiting to see the specialist forrumatoide artritus,my feet and hands are swelling up and I have terrible burning in my sole of feet,and palm of my hands,and stiffness in all my joints,despite that life goes on and the gambling is now almost 4 years,,,gamble free,,,im back to work this week,been off for a few weeks,since I haven’t been on ,I was sad to hear Geordie you have been poorly,,i do hope your on the mend now,and I also hope all my friends and forum colleagues are doing well,so for now ,

hi guys,
not been on for a few weeks,been on holiday to the Italian lakes,and working till 9 at night during summer holidays,things have calmed down now.and that gives me more time to come on forum,gambling is still a thing of the past,lesley had a big birthday in august,and we went to venice ,and went on a gondolier,iy was my birthday last week,and it was very nice,with a little celebrating meal,life is good,i hope all my friends are doing well,and life is good for you all,take care,i will post again soon,

well simon,its great to hear from you,im not in touch with any of old gang,ive moved on now,been working since I left g m,and lifes good,live on the sea front at clevelys near blackpool,and getting ready to retire in a couple of years,its great that you have got to know your family again,and even thou you have had a blip with the gambling ,im sure you can sort that out ,I always rememberd our deep coversations,i found them very interesting,so take care and good luck to you and your family best wishes bonkers,,,,alias tony

hi all,lovely sunny day in blackpool,and I hope I find you all well,life is good at the moment,still gambling free 3 years and 5 months,,,started anew job 3 weeks ago and its going well,shoulder still not quite right but we cant have everything,sometimes I lokk back,and I cant believe im in this place where life is normal and bookies no longer excist,sadly I realise I was lucky and their are still so many going through the pain we all know,,to them people I can only hope they get help and are able to move on,so for now friends its good by,take care and I will post soon x

well how nice it was to see all the gang at Beckenham gmoody,had a nice bit of lunch with Michele my counciler when I was their 3 years ago,without her faith in me I would not be where I am today,i went to the outreach meeting which is run every 2 weeks by david,another person who has always been their for me,it was nice to talk to some guys just finishing their period at Beckenham,and offer some advice where it was needed,and listen to another exresident who now is in happier times,i spent an hour walking around Beckenham remembering the times I had their,even though they were sad times,it is nice now to see how it is in different circumstances,and its a big part of my life,which without doubt led me to be here today,so to all forum friends past and present,and all future residents hang on in their and anything is possible,WITH A BIT OF DEDICATION,and soul searching,good luck and best wishes bonkers

hi all,
well its all change my end,after having shoulder operation and moving,i decided with Lesley its time to enjoy our life by the sea,im now looking for some partime work just to keep active, having not been to well of late,i realise their is more to life than money,when gambling all that matterd was money now I see things for what they are.having had operation I would like to say it was a success,but sadly that is not the case.im going to visit my friends at Gordon moody on 13 march,and take Michele my counciler for some lunch,it will be great to see the gang,and to talk to some of the residents and see how they are coping,and maybe offer some advice a long the way,if needed,hope alls well with GEORDIE,VERS, PAULINE,LOOBY LOO,AND EVERYONE ELSE ON THE FORUM,for now good by good luck ,will post on my return from london

hi friends, just a quick up date,had a shoulder operation ,just before xmas,and now on the mend and hoping to be back in work in 2 weeks,and moved house on 29th dac,on the sea front at clevelys blackpool,wake up in the morning to the sound of the sea and seagulls.and when I open curtains you see the sea coming in,its our last move ,we are both al,most 6o, so it s our retirement home,,,hope you all had a lovely xmas,and hopefully a great new year ahead,hope vera,geordie,looby loo,are all well,for now good by good luck,,,best wishes bonkers

hello friends,just got back a week ago from calpe in spain,myself and Lesley had a lovely time,we are on our way to a move,we have had a offer accepted on a bungalow ,and hope fully fingers crossed in new year we will move in,its a very busy time at work,we have a fit camp weekend goming up,and with xmas weeks away ,ribby hall is almost full every week,apart from a bad shoulder that will need surgery alls well.i hope all my friends on here are all well,i will post again xmas week,untill then ,best wishes bonkers
