Thanks for that Charles, deleting that thread. Nothing was starting up. I write all my posts in word and it wouldn’t be too difficult to post it again on my thread or here. I made a valid observation on a comment made by IDI. Nothing unfair about it. I know the truth hurts, its something I’ve learned the hard way. I can accept the truth very easily these days. Years ago though, I’d squirm and wriggle and run away from it. Years ago I didn’t care. I do care now. Not one person has supported me in my opinions so thanks a bunch everybody. I invite you or the GT team to ask IDI and find out if indeed she did tell a lie about me, then ask her why she did. What purpose did it serve? You are not helping her, or anybody by letting her get away with blatantly lying about another GT user. Disgraceful.

I have always admired the way you post. If I had the guts to say what I thought sometimes I would be booted off this site. I’m not talking about this particular time, but many over the years.
I have to say, I don’t really know about the lie you speak of, I wasn’t around when everything happened.
What I do know is that you are a good person, who, like me knows what can be done to aid recovery.
I also know that you are my friend.

Let GT deal with it.
If we write a post in good faith, it is up to the recipient to deal with it. We are all grown ups here . I have never met an “innocent” CG. We know lots of tricks.
As I see it, you always write truthful posts. Why do you need to defend yourself against the indefensible?
Those who are dishonest in recovery will always be peeved by truth.
“The things we don’t want to hear are the things we need to hear” still applies!

I was hanging round for Charles’s group, but decided to drop a line on here instead.

You need this place as much as me and everybody else, all recoveries are equal…so nobody should be getting special support its quite sad Vera.

You have your meetings and your email support, I’m always there for you too….no offence vera neither of us are spring chickens can you really believe anybody could seriousley think we ganged up…

take your own advice, you can stand above this, as can i….keep posting i’m going too…….I’ve just gone a full year without gambling, youve done two…years ago we couldnt get past one or two days…this place has helped…….
