Well a positive in my day today is a really good cup of coffee
The sun is shining
The birds are singing
Im not gambling

People embraced change and started new threads
Today i feel free to be me
I am grateful for my beautiful little family
I love my cat
I enjoy my good food today (ok maybe a little too much)

GA meeting gave me a boost
Got my thread working by starting a new one
Ate a delicious meal or two today
Learnt some lessons

Im not gambling
Im feeling peaceful after a long time of chaos
Ive got food
Fuel in the car
Roof over my head
Sunshine outside
Birds singing
Cat by my side
Family sleeping
Im free

That I am gamble free
That I have such an awesome little family
That i have an adorable kitty cat
That people are posting on here again
That i have a job
That i have a roof over my head and a warm bed
That i have enough food, fuel, comforts

That i dont have to have the latest of everything or wealth to make me happy

That i have found a contentment in the little things

I did not gamble yesterday
I do not plan on gambling today
I got to visit my counselor yesterday
That fellow cg’s are starting to come back and post
I have a job that I love and that helps others

Im thankful today i have let go of gambling
My little family are worth more than all the money in the world
Thankful i am happy with what i have
Happy to be given another day at living

It’s the weekend and my wifes birthday. Recovery is for enjoying.

Having a nice breakfast and enjoying every mouthful

I have food, clothes, shelter, a job… and recovery today 🙂

Had coffee with a friend today. Didnt do that when gambling

The best thing i did today was doing something for someone else and seeing their smile 🙂

Well its early in the morning but i started my day with posting, chatting and reading. A great start to the day for my recovery.
Glad i am in recovery today it is the best gift i have received.
