Hello all,I am trying to stop betting and am doing really well.i placed a bet earlier tonight on paddy power which I am self excluded from but forgot I was.not long after I placed my bet I tried to log in but was told my account was closed.I called them and they explained why my account was closed which was due to am exclusion.They advised me that I would get the money returned that I placed the bet on and would go straight to my account.Is this true as I really need that money back as am a bit worried to say the least.if anyone knows please reply.

I was promised a rebate from the same “Gangsters “months ago.
Still awaiting their response.
Luckily, it was a very small amount .

Well I am fairly confident,I have to be.i spoke to 2 different advisers tonigjt and they both said the same thing that the money would be in my account in the next few days.the bet was voided so I’m sure I will be fine.

Hi caden, I hope u get your money back. I thought when I read paddy power- that is an Irish site u will be ok , but when I read the small print it clearly isn’t . My advice is pester them til u get it .

Well done on self banning and as someone who has been through hell and came out the other side of this addiction – the best feeling in the world is when u are not waiting desperately on refunds cause you have enough to tide you over – and it happens very quickly once we stop gambling .

Keep working at it – and maybe invest your next bit of money into a blocker like betfilter for your computer

We’ll I have spoke to them 3 times and they have been helpful each day and got an email to say the money’s ok it’s way back so looks like I have been lucky.first time I have betted for nearly 3 years so should know better really.i just get tempted when I see a team who I know will win but need to look st the bigger picture!
