This is the beginning of a song im composing. Havent done that in a while. Maybe you get the gist, here it goes.

I was on the fence trying to escape.
Master of defense and master of lies.
I boarded a boat it was sinking fast.
Tried to swim ashore water above my head.

Gonna take my time.
Finding peace for the mind.

I’ve been stickning my head in the sand. Waiting for a turn to face ahead.
Long to feel the sunrays on my skin.
Mend the broken pieces let love in.
