I read that it’s wrong to “bail” CG spouses out of the trouble they get themselves into. I just want to ask though if it’s ok for me to pay off the debts that he occurred from his gambling. He borrowed from people we know, our friends, so obviously I’m ashamed that we owe them money. Is it ok for me to help him just erase his debts so he doesn’t have to worry about that & he has a fresh start?
