I think my New Years resolution this year is to listen to and follow my "good" inner voice as much as possible.  You know how in cartoons when a person has a choice to make, the image of an angel sitting on one shoulder and the devil sitting on the other shoulder appears and they try to convince the person to do either right or wrong.  I’m flicking that devil off my shoulder this year (at least as much as possible.) This is not only goes for my ga, but it goes for office gossiping, whether or not to go to church, how I treat others, what I eat and how I take care of my health, etc, etc, etc… 

Hi Ammy, my own personal thoughts on any "no gambling resolution" would be to agree with you – don’t make it; it certainly never worked for me in the past either.
Better to make a positive resolution concerning what we are going to DO about our addiction.  Something like – this year I WILL get banned from that casino, I WILL go to GA meetings, I WILL post in the forum x number of ***** a week etc

My new years resolution was to stop moaning about things believe it or not. Then I got thinking what I moan about,and these are the things I tended to moan about, food prices, fuel prices, utility bills,car insurance,oh and my job( not earning enough money to pay for the things I moan about)… But the pattern is they are all money related and all left me with less money to gamble with, so was I really moaning. About the price of gambling???
