I have been a gamber for some years. I love to gamble on roulette and have slowly moved up to bigger stakes from around £1 a spin a few years ago to £20 a stake sometimes now. I get a great rush off of roullette and am often up but often don’t take the ups even if its is 200 quid off a tenner.

I also like to place bets on sports. These tend to be accas for anywhere from £10 – £50 depending on how many teams i put on. I really enjoy sports betting and do not lose large amounts in a day as i do i roullete.

I know the issue is me gambling but it will only work if I want to but im not sure I want to or have the will power to give up gambling. Im also afraid that if I do give up sports betting that because I watch and follow so many I will know when I would have won as I tend to bet on the same or similar teams, which would make me feel annoyed.

Has anyone stopped gambling on casinos but still do sports bets?

For a compulsive gambler, I think it would be impossible to give up one particular gambling activity, and then gamble in a controlled manner on another.

Most people come here when they realise that gambling is ruining their life, and they know that the only way to stop the rot is to completely stop gambling.

I’ve never heard of any one being successful in what you ask..
