I have checked my profile…everything is as it should be. Would like to join in on a support group but when I go to «join» one and it opens up it is in another language and there is no one there. I have my preferred language set for English. I would love to be more active on this site but am getting really frustrated not being able to utilize everything that is here. What am I doing wrong??

Dale … maybe your Time Zone needs editing?

My time zone is correct, my language is correct, everything seems to be correct. Maybe this just wasn’t meant to be….I will keep trying but if things don’t work out I’ll just give up.

Hi Dale,
If you click on «Support groups» you will see the full schedule of groups so you can plan when you want to join. Did you know that after 15 minutes the groups do close for newcomers so that those in the group can continue to focus on their discussions without interruption? Maybe that was the problem as I see you posted at 46 minutes past the hour. -

Morning Dale
Ive just checked your profile settings and unfortunately they are all incorrect, Country, time zone, Year of Birth, the syytem is designed to not let you save unless these are set, at the moment all are set to default.
Can you please check them again and click save.
Cheers
Harry

Don’t know who’s profile you were looking at but mine is as it should be…..country – United States, time zone – America, chicago, Year of Birth – 1948. I have redone them and hit save several times. Haven’t tried since yesterday to get into a group and don’t know if I will have time today. Do the group names always show up in a different language?? Should I just go on in and use English?

Hi Dale,
Sorry your profile looks fine. If you carry on experiencing issues can you email us
or pop onto the helpline when it’s open and were see what is wrong. Can I ask which language you’re accessing the site from? We do run un-moderated groups in languages other than English, but the moderated, gambler & topic groups are at the moment only available in English
Kind Regards
Harry
