Hi there. I never gambled in my live up until about 13 years ago. A friend of me suggest we go to a casino for entertainment which I really enjoyed. At first I could stop but later on became reckless. I found that gambling was a way for me to escape from reality and not facing issues in my life. One day I saw a client of mine who were gamnling online and I was immediately interested. It was convenient and as I used to drink while I gambled I did not have to worry about driving to a casino under the influence. I had access right there in my home. If I felt bad, I gambled. Sometimes I would gamble for no reason. About 2 years ago I told my phsycologist about my gambling. I was able to stop for for a while but then something bad happened and I returned to the only coping mechanism which I knew: gambling and alcohol. I have been sober again for over a month and almost a month with the gambling but gave in this part Friday. I am not one to attend groups and spill all my beans, but I need to overcome this problem. Any help would be appreciated.
