The ball on the wheel spins into the unknown
into the abyss of aprehension that leads me far from home
the void is unforgiving as it saps away my soul
longing for abstinence, my final dice are thrown

Forgiveness is a virtue but I still burden myself
with the never-ending nightmare that crept up with such stealth
