How many words will it take

ensnares my fate
From this pen comes my lifeblood
my last stand
my hope
From this pen spills my soul
tortured
and broke
Ink flows from my pen
like blood from my veins
I write and I write
my sorrow it drains
Without this pen
I fear I’d be lost
