Running from my Ex
You have taken everything from me,
I gave you my all, day after day
Weeks, months and years.
Always coming back for more,
Today you are calling me, softly
Now louder still.
My heart and soul,
My security, my peace belonged to you
Yet it only existed with you,
You left me with an unimaginable fear and dread
False promises of a freedom road,
I am lost without you.
What do I have left?
A chance to live without you?
