There is an election here in the UK today.

I voted but it doesn’t matter who for.  Nor do i want to know who anyone else voted for, this isnt the place for political debate.

 

What I will say though that if a party promised to knock a few pence off the price of a pint of beer they would win easily.  I knocked several £ off a pint when i stopped gambling in the machines in pubs.  If a party promised tax cuts that would put a few extra £ in our pockets they would romp home. I saved a lot more than a few £ by stopping gambling.  If a party promised that we could spend more time with friends and family, could afford more meals out, afford more of the things we enjoy etc etc Well they would win by a landslide.  Again we can do all those things when we stop gambling.

 

Governments might be in charge of the country but we all have far more control over our own individual economies, our own individual lives than they ever could!
