I feel this story needs a bit of explanation first as some of you may not understand. So about 1 year back or more me and my friends picked up a video game (nothing new we play them all the time) and like many video games this one had „in game items” the common misconception about these video games is that these in game items are cheap. Well I can tell you some of these items have fetched up to $30,000 REAL MONEY for a digital item that literally looks nice and that is it. Of course with the items ability to hold money and the ability for players to trade one another gambling websites became a thing pretty quick and basically just like footy or rugby or any other game you can bet on professional teams. Well right now I lost £400 in the last game I bet on. I am down a countless amount. I am only 15 years of age because there is literally no regulations when it comes to this even though it is gambling with real money! My family is not poor but we are not certainly in the best financial situation for me to be dropping £400. The £400 was from a friend that lent me one of these items (he won that from betting) because I lost mine. I put it on thinking „no way we can lose” it was the equivalent of your local town playing an international football team. Well apparently there is. I now owe him big time! he does not know I have lost it because I am only 15 I have no job. My parents don’t know I gamble and its easier said than done telling them. I don’t know what to do. I get into this state after a big loss and I think „I shall never bet again” and I do, every time. Two weeks ago I have a $250 loss and I thought to myself never again. Look where I am now. I really have to try sort this out but I don’t know how.
