…..Yes I Would….

Circumstances may say I am hopeless
My actions may say I am reckless
My finances may say I am penniless
Many may say I am useless
And justifiably I can be called senseless

But within me I know who I am
I am a man fighting a demon
A demon you cannot understand
A demon that steals my life and time
But the power I possess within is infinite

I would turn it around, yes I would
I would turn the rudder of my ship back to shore
I would turn my looming despair back to hope
I would turn on my light and send darkness home
I would turn things around, yes i would.
