No bets for me today but I popped in the bookies as he wanted to put a football bet on and I saw a guy with 2 grand in a Fobt! Exactly 2 grand he was on as I looked over and he paused for 2 mins then press spin. Well as you would of guessed I looked over 10 minutes later and he was on 200 pound and then he walked out soon after! When he had the 2000 I thought to myself why can,t I have that luck to get to that much as for me its just lose lose lose these last few months! I would have loved to have the chance to win 2000! I got about 8800 saving and I did have 15 a few months back! I just want 10 grand in savings back and so temped these last couple of days to take out say 800 and try and make it back! I know I will with hard work and time but a impatient gambler I want it back now!

Hi Life,
A few points here. First of all how did you get on with those 20 questions I mentioned on your other thread?
As you say yourself, a few minutes later and the winnings were almost gone – with your previous gambling history why would it be different for you next time?
Most important, who is the “he” you were placing the bets for? If you carry on going in the bookies then you will almost certainly end up gambling yourself, you will keep watching the machines and talking to other gamblers, in short all the things that will make it hard for you to stop.
Whoever it is let them know that you are unable to put their bets on for them in the future.
Lastly, try and just keep one thread running. Then all the advice you get will be in one place and it will be easier for you to look back on your recovery journey.
