This time it is it, I am in £50k worth of debt most of it owed to my dad I need to pay this off but not with gambling now. I lost another £5.7k last night and it has all come to ahead I am backed into a corner and I can just about afford to pay the monthly payments. I’m going to look for a weekend or evening job to a) keep my mind off gambling and b) earn more to pay off the debt.

I have gambled since I was 16 I’m 38 now and it’s consumed my life and my money I need to stop once and for all.

It’s never too late to stop. Money isn’t everything. It’s important to find your inner peace and to calm your mind. Your doing this for yourself. You’ve made the decision to stop. Never doubt that decision, no matter what comes in your way. Gambling shouldn’t be a part of your life anymore, as it just makes life harder.

      Wish you all the best.

38 is a great time to stop! Read through the other posts on here and just imagine they are all being written to you. At lest your dad isn charging interest. 🙂 You will be able to pay it back in time. You need to stop gambling and move on with life. Put it behind you as it’s always a losing proposition.
