I’ve been in your shoes, I know exactly what you’re referring to.
I’m almost 31 years old, started gambling at the age of 16.

I am sure you look at sports betting as opportunity to make extra income, but it’s not …
I know you must probably think already that casino games like roulette and slots are not for you because these are random based games – but sports betting is different, you might think, right?

You might think sports betting relies on your skills or knowledge or both … that only if would investigate the match or the live lines properly you would make tons of money … you might think the line is +5 for this team or the over/under in the rugby game is over/under 40.5 and you can pick it in live for 28.5 which is a “bargain” considering the original line is so far away from it…

You might think about so many opportunities, think that sports betting is the easiest way to make extra income from home, no need to work, you would get your car and fulfill your dreams – but all these thoughts, all those feelings, all those emotions are going to lead you to one thing and one thing only – DISASTER.

      ————————————–

Now let me burst your bubble about sports betting.

Sports betting does invovle skills/knowledge, and so is poker, and so is horse racing or other forms of gambling such as the stock market, currencies and so forth.

The problem is dealing around this “world” of sports betting = is injecting drugs into your brain, and it’s not a question of maybe – dealing with the world of sports betting = is the same as injecting drugs into your brain.

All these thoughts around sports betting are from the drugs you get from taking part of it … and the question is how to stop …

You need to realize that these are drugs.
You need to realize that the world of sports betting is a world of gambling that is designed to make you lose money, it is designed to make you chase losses, it is designed to make you bet more than you can afford, and it is designed to make you bet endlessly.

It’s a demon, it’s the devil … it’s even worse than casino games if you ask me, because with casino games it’s all based on random results, but this here, sports betting – gives you the illusion that it is based on yourself – and it’s not … it’s not something you can control. It is a world that is designed to put you out of control.

Imagine that you are a developer writing a script … can the script dictate to the developer what to do? Of course not! Can the script control the developer?! No!
Same thing here – this world of sports betting is designed to control you … that is how it’s designed.

Eventually it’s no different than any other forms of gambling …
Forget about making “extra income” with it.
Forget about chasing your losses or earning back your losses with it … even if you would have managed to get back those losses you wouldn’t stop there, it’s a guarantee, I promise you … you might stop for a year or two but you would get back to it.

You have to stop it now, you have to put it behind you, and forget about this world.
You must do it for your own good.

I am telling you as a person who is sorry for placing the first wager at the age of 16.
And I’m not in debts, I didn’t hit rock bottom thankfully … but this world of sports betting could destroy my life or could have destroyed my life if I hadn’t seeked help so many times.

I’m telling you – stay away from it … extra income would never ever come from it.
There are people who made even a few millions in sports betting – and lost it all … I know one, I can give you a link to a Youtube video if you wanna see it, it’s just in a foreign language … but it doesn’t matter really … you gotta understand …. you don’t and shouldn’t get into dealing with a system that is designed to control you.

You need to be on your own.
Yes, you want nice things in life – but they won’t come from gambling.
Try to innovate something, to be creative, innovative – this would help you make more money than others … but it won’t come from gambling.

Please do it for your own good.
Stay away from it and try to block any means or access to your sports betting websites, ask the website to self-exclude you on a permanent basis.

If you use Skrill or Neteller – ask them to close your account on a permanent basis.
Don’t sign up with any other site – call your bank and tell the bank to block gambling transactions if possible (or threat to move to a different bank).

You’re still very young … you got lots ahead of you … don’t do this please, just don’t.

Hindsight is 20/20. Unfortunately humans tend to only learn by the hard way. It’s easy to have been defeated by gambling and look back and wish you could turn back time. It’s very difficult for a naive teenager or 20s something individual to look at gambling and see it as a path of potential ruin.
