I’ve been 9 years gambling.Lost countless friends,girlfriends,Luckily able to still work, only 27 years old. Went to GA last night. Surprised to find someone i new there who i would never have thought would be. Started new job 8 months . Problem is i get paid end of each month as opposed to old job where it was weekly.Have lost wages continually for 8 months. Told last november that need get root canal as have infection on a deep filling i got when younger. Keep going to bookies to get money for it as cost €1400 but off course end up losing . Went again yesterday,where i won €1250 within half hour but off course over next hour lost that and entire wages. Now have to wait until end of july for next wage. Have extra weekly income of €70 minus €30 for petrol to survive for month. Going to be a long torture of 30 days again for eight month in a row. Gum swelled up from infection and feel angry.
Went to GA last night as said and started on forum today. So this is day one of gambling free life.Will keep u up to date daily . Post any encouragement etc. If anyone else has just decided to quit please follow and post on my forum and use each day and begin with "this is my x amount of days free from gambling" . Our first goal will be to remain free for  6 months starting today
