I’m glad to read (in the middle of another thread) that some of my remarks gave you hope.
Hope is all a CG needs to cling on to. The opposite is despair and with the proper help no Cg need ever reach that level.
I’m glad to that you are on the waiting list for GM. Did you get your date yet?
In the meantime, I would suggest you open your own Thread here on GT. When you share your thought on your own thread you are more sure of getting feedback.
I would stress to you Paul, that it IS possible to stop gambling. It Is possible to stay stopped. It IS possible to have a far better life. Not a Rose Garden, mind you but a life where you have Peace of Mind-a gift that mon money can buy.
I will look out for your thread. The unmonitored groups are often empty. There is always the Helpline here and GA in the Real World.

thanks Vera, it is very comforting to know that people here, the ones who have been where I am, can give me hope that we CAN do this, I CAN DO THIS…. I will not lose hope, although it can be very tough at times,… as you know.
I have opened a thread in MY JOURNAL – you will find it!!… ps. I also wrote a poem and thinking of doing another one for my big demon – I’m going to call it “LET THE BIG DEMON SLEEP AND SLEEP”
No date yet , but will call them on and follow up..
