      Hi…
My story began in 2002. I was a single mom to two wonderful teenage boys. I started playing the 8 liners, or fruit machines as some have called them. I became so addicted to those machines, it was pathetic. I was opening up loans and credit cards to finance this habit. When I would win, the money went right back in the machine. I added to my addiction, by going to the casino, 3 hours away. By 2003, I had lost my home, my truck, my credit and I am ashamed to say, my son’s credit. I remarried in 2004. My new husband knew all about my gambling habit, but thought I had quit. I would sneak off to the casino every now and then, but was able to hide what I spent. It wasn’t about NEEDING the money to pay bills anymore, it was just out of fun.
This past summer, I started spending more and more at the casino. And going more often. It got to the point, where i couldn’t hide it any longer. Well, not hide everything. There is so much more to my story…but here I am.Kim
