There is nothing I can type that will solve this problem. I just want you to know, that I hear you. I cannot imagine your pain, but I am reading. Losing a child, not knowing if they are safe, is unimageanable to me. You are a very strong man. To live with this each day is a heavy burden. Please be kind to yourself. If he ever reaches out to you, I know you want him to see you in the best light possible. Keep doing the work, keep away from gambling and alcohol. Build the life you want him to see.
