What other barriers can you put in place? I know that in the UK there are many banks now which will stop you using accounts for gambling if you ask them I suggest you start a thread in the My Journal Forum. It is a busier forum and you can get a lot of support there. The most important thing is not to try and do this on your own. there is a lot of support these days – here and sites like this, places like gamblers Anonymous, counselling and even residential support.
