2026 has arrived. August of 2025 I mentioned I had $9,500 of debt left to pay. July 2024 I opened my first journal entry with $35,000 of debt solely obtained from gambling. January 2026 I am down to the final $4,850 of debt remaining. I chewed through 2025 paying this debt off. The end shall be bitter sweet. What a waste of money, and what a waste of time.
The slow grind paying this off has allowed me to feel the growing pains of my decisions.
I am looking forward to the entry where I get to write: debt = $0.00.
