I’ve lost £800 or so over the last month (relative to my income that is a LOT!!!).
I have self excluded from the sites so I am not at risk of losing more and my financial situation is still okay as I didn’t lose all of my savings.
However, I am really struggling to cope with mentally overcoming my losses. I am not even of legal age and I’m an addict, and have lost a most of the money I had saved up over the years.
How can I just get back to living and focusing on my education etc. I fear that this feeling of loss will remain in my head for months and that is certainly not what I need (I have exams soon).
I hate being like this.
Hi,
firstly well done for acknowledging you have a problem… you are not alone and you are at a site that really can make a difference… I was lost 6 months ago and I have been able to change… its still a long road ahead but I started here too…
join the forums – they are good… you need to make the effort if you want to change… its not easy but there is always help if you need it or want it… gambling ruined my past life… its a losers life…
keep going my Compulsive gambler – you can change and you are not alone…
