It’s been one week since the last time I’ve gambled. Last Friday I won a decent amount of money that was enough to help me pay my debts and have some cash left over for myself. The following day I gave it all back and was back to zero. That was the last time I’ve gambled. Since then I have requested a self ban from the casino. I am a frequent visitor of my local casino. It’s a small college town so all the dealers know me very well and respect my request. I’m making progress and it is drastically helping my mood. I was going thru very tough depression. I was wasting time gambling. I’d literally be there open to close some days. I wasted so much time that I coulda put towards my school work or career search. But I can’t change the past. Only move forward. I’m very relieved how this ban worked out. All 3 years I’ve been in college I wasted my tax refunds gambling. I just got this years refund and I can say with pride NOT THIS YEAR. I will beat this.
