Haven’t been around much lately.  Days are full of taming the wildest of beasts…..6th graders who are ready for holiday break.  Nights filled with grading papers, holiday shopping, and Gam-Anon meetings.  I must confess….I have developed somewhat of an addiction of my own.  Every chance I get I login hoping to see that "Connect Now" memo in group therapy column.  Last week, a 30 minute chat with Bettie, quite a funny lady I might add.  This morning a quick therapy session with Jilly and Velvet in between make-up and hair drying.  Neither day was a particularly tough one in my life with a CG but I left both chats feeling better than when I started.  Guess sometimes you don’t really know you needed something so badly until you get it.   
Laughter…in a life where moments to laugh at can become few and far between (lets face it there’s nothing funny about pawn shops and empty bank accounts)…laughter is EXACTLY what I needed.  So my fellow Gambling Therapy members….I hope you LAUGH this holiday season.  Laugh.  Really laugh.  That deep down in your belly, tears in your eyes, laughter.  Exchange gag gifts, spike the egg nog, transpose your picture on one of those dancing elves….whatever it takes…find it…deep inside you…way below all that anger or shame or guilt or whatever that burden is…find it.  And laugh.
