Hi. I wasn’t gambling for four months. i have my own production company a I andm involved in exciting projects. last night, i came back home drunk, stole my brother ID and lost in blackjack 6000 eur at the casino. Next morning I went personally to the bank and took in three takes 6000 Euros each. That was one year work. I blow it up in 2 hours. Here I am alone, feeling how terrible my life is. I have so much anger. I still can get money from the last place I have , if lose that i will get naked in the street. I guess my story is one in hundreds here. Thanks

Please don’t take that money out, you said it yourself, you will end up naked in the street. You will never ever win, EVER!!!
No win is ever enough for a compulsive gambler.
Have you got someone you can talk to, now? Get them to take away your access to money, be it take your card, book, whatever it is you use to access money?
Are you under age to go to the casino? Why did you steal your brothers ID?
You went for 4 months gamble free, a terrific achievement, perhaps its time you put up extra barriers, to keep you safe and ensure this doesn’t happen again. Is there a GA in your area? There are some very helpful people there who understand exactly how you are feeling.
Try and join some group chats here. You are definitely not alone Camarami, but this is your journey to take, and how you do that is up to you.
Using all the advice you are given, posting and reading here, GA, personal counselling, becoming accountable to a friend or family member you can trust, self excluding from the venues you gamble in, all these things can help keep you safe and let you work recovery.
      There is life after gambling.
Its not easy, but it can be done.
I hope to read more from you, welcome again.
      Love K xxx

      Hi Camarami,
Sorry to read that you find yourself in this position with a year’s earnings wiped out.
      That’s what gambling does.
      Wipes us out.
Unless you are prepared to stop NOW, you can reconcile yourself to having a lifetime’s earnings stolen by this dreaded disease. It progresses unless we stop in our tracks and change our behaviour.
Money is not the only thing gambling takes.
It also steals our time, relationships, self worth, pride, and even our motivation to quit.
Read the advice Kathryn has given you and follow it before it’s too late.
Best wishes for a new recovery.
You can do it. This is your chance.

Thanks a lot for taking time to reply. I was really thinking something really extreme. Like going back to chase losses and if loosing… well take my life away. How retard can I be, but thats the truth. I was high thinking all under control, one relapse and…. misery again! Thanks Kathryn

      Just checking in on you.
I hope you are doing ok.
Compulsive gamblers who keep gambling only get worse.
The money is just the means to do it.
We never ever stop until its all gone. I could walk out of a venue with money, only to lose it all and more the next day.
Keep reading and posting, it really does help and as time goes on, the urges will lessen as you become more able to deal with them.
      Take care, Kathryn xx

Chasing loses keep hammering my brain. I feel so much anger still… I will control that. In the past I chase loses an won but at the end it all got worse. Thanks for the advices as my real lost in this last gamble spree has been the lost of interest in my current projects and a serious depression…. Many thanks for considering my post and help out with your words….

      How are you?
I hope you are feeling a bit better and are putting some things in place to help your recovery.
Its hard to accept the losses. They are never coming back. It doesn’t matter what we win/won, it is never ever enough.
All the money does is ensure we can gamble longer. Winning in the end is a non issue.
I hope to hear from you soon.
      Love K xx
