Hi everyone,
I’m 29 years old, have my own IT business and I’m addicted to gambling.
I have a 7 year old son and a wonderful fiance and partner
On my 18th birthday I was taken to the Casino by my fiance’s parents and given 500 bucks to play…needless to say, it’s been with me ever since. Only the last two years has it really become a problem. I find myself spending almost all my money on gambling slot machines and it’s making me extremely depressed as I’m robbing my family from a better life and I decided that from today, I want this to change.
I would appreciate any and all help from you guys. I can go days without gambling, even weeks but when the monster comes knocking, it knocks hard.
I don’t have any GA meetings here in Port Elizabeth (South Africa) so my support group will be online for the most part. I plan on joining the group chats and I’d like to help out as well.
