I look at it this way. There are a lot of people with problems in this world, gambling or otherwise, most don’t have the courage to do anything about it. This is a tough addiction and needs tough steps to tackle it. There are a lot of people here in the Forums and at your GA meeting who are showing great courage in addressing this addiction, as there are at mine.
So I can say I am definitely proud to go to GA and I know that my family is proud of me for taking those tough steps that I needed to take.
I hope that one day you realise and can say a big YES if you are asked that question again 🙂 You deserve to feel proud.
